Amiel "Chuck" Fletcher

Rev. Amiel L. Fletcher (nick named “Chuck”) joined the Evolution Foundation as a consultant in 2019 and serves as the assistant pastor of First Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Rev. Fletcher is also a contractor for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services and has six years' experience as a case manager.

Rev. Fletcher formerly served as the Chaplain for the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Oklahoma City and as a Hospice Chaplain. In addition, Chuck has twenty years' experience in sales and management and worked for corporate giants, MCI Worldcom (now Verizon) and AT&T.

Rev. Fletcher brings his passion for people and skills as a faith-based leader, relationship builder, resource connector and prolific speaker to his work in Oklahoma communities. Chuck speaks on topics of family values, adolescent drug use, the impact of prayer in schools, and how to reach the “Lost Generation” of youth in Oklahoma.

Rev. Fletcher holds a Bachelor of Art's degree in Sociology from the University of Science and Arts in Chickasha, Oklahoma and master's work in Political Science and Government from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. In addition, Chuck has a master's degree in Biblical Studies from the United Theological Institute in Monroe, Louisiana.

When not working in Oklahoma communities, Rev. Fletcher resides in Chickasha with his wife of 49 years, Wanez Elaine Fletcher and experience great joy and fulfillment from their two children, Amiel Jr., Nikita Elaine Fletcher Johnson and four grandchildren, Desaree, Keyshawn, Tia Lynn, and Andre.
