Theresa Sharp

Community Consultant

For the past two decades, Theresa Sharp has dedicated herself to advancing the causes of individuals grappling with disabilities and mental health challenges. Presently, she holds the position of Community Consultant at the Evolution Foundation, where she diligently collaborates with coalitions and communities throughout the Northwest region of Oklahoma, offering essential resources and support as required.

In her current capacity, Theresa has conducted training sessions on Autism, Resilience, ACES, trauma, Mental Health First Aid, and various other subjects across the northwest part of the state. Her multifaceted roles have positioned her as a prominent leader and advocate in the realms of family support, autism, disability awareness, substance use, and suicide prevention. Theresa has actively participated in significant events, including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention walk in Enid, Early Childhood Family Fun Days and the 4RKids walk.

A distinguished graduate of Partners in Policymaking, Theresa is presently affiliated with Enid Civitan and fervently supports Enid Street Outreach Services. Her community engagement extends to diverse projects, such as the annual Picnic for Progress drug takeback event, Grant County Action Team initiatives, and Sooner Success Caregiver Conferences. Currently serving as the chair of the Northwest Oklahoma Childhood Coalition, and several other coalitions, and she also actively contributes to the Garfield County Live Healthy Coalition and Garfield County Health Planning.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Theresa, a devoted wife of 35 years, a mother of two, and a grandmother of one, finds solace in quality time spent with family and friends. She harbors a penchant for perusing antique stores and estate sales in search of unique additions to her glassware collection. Theresa Sharp embodies a distinguished commitment to community advocacy and a balanced appreciation for life's finer pursuits.
