Lori Carey
Community Consultant
Lori Carey joined the Evolution Foundation in June 2026 and serves as Community Consultant for the Northeast Counties. She brings experience in nonprofit leadership, community outreach, program management, and organizational administration.
Lori is also the Executive Director of the Delaware County Community Partnership, where she oversees operations for a countywide nonprofit coalition. Her work focuses on substance misuse prevention, public health education, and improving health outcomes in rural communities.
Previously, Lori coordinated opioid prevention, overdose education, stigma-reduction, and treatment-awareness efforts through the Cherokee County Health Services Council. She also helped establish the Ottawa County Rural Health Network and led strategic planning for a federally funded rural health initiative. Earlier in her career, she managed volunteers, client support, and outreach for the Community Crisis Center of Northeast Oklahoma.
Lori is especially passionate about improving access to care, reducing stigma, supporting prevention and recovery efforts, and creating practical solutions that produce lasting community impact. Known for her collaborative leadership and commitment to service, Lori brings strong skills in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, compliance, and organizational management.
Driven by a genuine passion for helping others, Lori is committed to raising awareness of important community issues and connecting people with the resources and support they need. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, gardening, and reading.
