Amber Costilla

Amber Costilla joined the Evolution Foundation in April 2024. Amber has many years of experience serving and building Oklahoma county coalitions. Ms. Costilla has spent most of her career serving communities in the Oklahoma panhandle and worked specifically with Texas county coalitions for 8 years before focusing on coalition building in a full-time capacity, which she has done since March of 2020. Prior to this, Amber worked for the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). The FQHC provides physical, mental, and dental services to persons in need. It was here that Amber found her love of helping people in need, working with diverse populations across Oklahoma.

Ms. Costilla has many standout skills and talents that help her serve Oklahoma communities. Amber is an outgoing people person, a self-described “go getter” and fundraiser. Amber is driven to help and seeks to understand others. Amber has a gift for handling conflict and deescalating situations. Amber is a nature helper, community builder, resource connector and innovator of solutions for people in need. Amber prides herself on improving traditions and building and implementing new programs. For example, Amber helped develop and was the driving force behind the Beaver Children's health fair, the Community gift project, the Diaper, Period and Hygiene Supply Bank, and the Summer Grab and Go food program for children in Cimarron and Beaver County. Amber is avid at looking for community partnerships and seeks to be a resource hub, providing warm handoffs, and offering a personal touch that changes lives and impacts persons and families of local communities.

When not building county coalitions, Amber is busy traveling for competitive youth sports events with her children. In her spare time, Amber loves to bargain shop and plans to become a professional personal shopper in her retirement years as a lifetime goal in addition to traveling. Amber lives with her husband and four children in Guymon and is a fur parent to four dogs and one cat.
